Oskar – the humane order

The artist Wladimir Schelechow has shown the order of human life in his works „Oskar in his mirror“ of lives´ by employing figures of Greek myothology.
a. C.G. Jungs psychology: The artist admires Jungs wisdom on the subject of persona, the
human mask – that is why Oskar in his clowns costume plays the game human society
expects of him. Everyone has to stand in the place given to him – it would be strange for the
shoe-maker to be apoet as well. He would be different from other people, not very reliable.
These demands of decency, of good manners, increase the need, the motivation to wear a
mask.
